Aquametrics Environmental fully evaluates the makeup of water we propose to treat to determine the various materials needed to meet customer reuse demands. We design the vessels that retain the materials, and we determine the specific priority in which each vessel/material is applied. We reference this combination of vessels and materials as a System that will convert a variety of contaminated waters to a potable quality. The waters to be treated include:

Wastewater Reuse

Wastewater Reuse including municipal wastewater, chemical manufacturing, mining, steel/iron production, power plants, food processing, oil and gas drilling and agriculture wastewater.

Processing Water

Many industries use water as a fundamental necessity that in many cases must be treated to stop the formation of scale, corrosion, biofouling, and disease control such as Legionnaires. Cooling towers are an example of processing water.

Brackish Water

Brackish water has more salinity than freshwater, but not as much as seawater and most often contains sodium chloride, sodium sulphate, hydrogen sulfide and iron sulfide.

Producer Water

Producer Water is water that comes out of the well with the crude oil during crude oil production. Produced water contains soluble and non-soluble oil/organics, suspended solids, dissolved solids, and various chemicals used in the production process.

Agricultural Water

Including dairy and hog excrement washdown water.

Removal & Destruction of PFAS

PFAS, or “Forever Chemicals,” are used in non-stick pans, paper products, textiles, firefighting foam, electronics, and many other products and they can be dangerous for public as they can cause kidney cancer, thyroid disruption, reduced responses to vaccination and other health problems. They are showing up in ground and surface waters and causing concern to regulators and the public. Although, they are generally indestructible in the environment they can be removed with Catalytic Carbon and destroyed by Advanced Oxidation
